CARDIFF UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
The International Foundation Programme (IFP) at Cardiff is a programme offering international students an automatic progression into the university for study. Students can apply for the international foundation programme to get a progress on professional course offered in the institution by the programme.

- BUSINESS:- Accounting and Finance, Business Management Economics
- ENGINEERING:- Architecture, Computing, Earth Ocean Sciences, Maths, Physics, Engineering
- HEALTH AND LIFE SCIENCES:- Medicine, Chemistry, Biology, Optometry, Pharmacy
- HUMANITY AND SOCIAL SCIENCES:- Geography and Planning, Law and Politics, Music, Media and Communication, English Language.
- PSYCHOLOGY:- Psychology
CARDIFF UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The international foundation scholarship offers a £2,000 award to international student, award will be applied in the form of tuition fee reduction and not cash
CARDIFF UNIVERSITY IFP 2019- CRITERIA AND TERMS FOR SELECTION
- Candidates must confirm Cardiff University as their firm choice, all offer conditions must be met.
- No separate application for the scholarship is required.
- International students who are self funded are liable to apply for international foundation programme scholarship
- Candidates will be automatically awarded the scholarship, If hold an offer for the programme after application and meet or exceed the criteria as set out.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR CARDIFF UNIVERSITY 2019 IFP
Application for the Cardiff university international foundation programme requires supporting documents. Applicants are to submit or upload all supporting documentations after filling the application form.
These are the documents required for Cardiff University 2019 International Foundation Programme (IFP).
- A personal statement.
- Academic transcripts of school results so far, including subjects studied and grades achieved
- One academic reference
- English language test results (IELTS)or note when you will sit the exam or receive the result
- A copy of the photograph page of your passport which must include your passport number and full name.
Note: If all the evidence required are not available and you don’t yet have them, you can still apply and submit your supporting documents when they become available.
INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME 2019 – HOW TO APPLY
Candidates applying for Cardiff IFP need to check the application entry requirements and any documentations that will be submitted along with application. Academic qualification of international students from all countries submitting application for the international foundation programme will be considered .
Note: English Language Skill is necessary and need to be possessed by candidates willing to take the program.
Application Procedure
- Candidates are to apply for the programme, access the 2019 IFP application form
- All supporting documents are to be emailed to Cardiff university international foundation via the email foundation@cardiff.ac.uk
- Candidates are to wait for an offer which must be accepted.
- All successful candidates having an offer from Cardiff university will log to the online application system and accept their offers.
