The Brighten and Sussex Medical School, UK is offering PhD Fellowships to Rwanda students from Africa Region. The University of Rwanda in collaboration with the Department of Global Health and Infection at Brighten and Sussex Medical School will offer two scholarships for candidates from Rwanda.

The two funding to be awarded will be offered to candidates who register for their PhD study at Brighten and Sussex Medical School in 2020.

The PhD fellowships at Brighten and Sussex Medical School application closes on May 7, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

Value/Worth

The scholarship value is worth tuition, stipend, research and travel cost for PhD fellowship.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria

Interested in the application, candidates must be;

Must have possessed MA or MSc degree in social or health sciences or a related field.

English language requirement: demonstrate IELTS qualification not less than 7.0 in each skill (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) Applicants who already achieve this score within last 2 years will be given priority.

  • Application letter addressed to the director of the University of Rwanda centre for Postgraduate Studies (UR CPGS) letter should demonstrate motivation, commitment, and reasons for interest in this PhD Program
  • Copies of degree certificates and grade report (Master degree in the mentioned area)
  • Complete Curriculum Vitae
  • Recommendation letter
  • IELTS result
  • Statement of Purpose(One page motivation for application)
