The 2020 Call for Code Global Challenge brings community experts to identify and deploy solutions for COVID-19, also called Coronavirus. The global pandemic Coronavirus outbreak has presented an unprecedented global challenge which must be tackled and solved.
IBM regonizes the urgency to act – this years call for code will tackle both climate change and COVID 19. We beleive technology will go a long way in helping us. So we need everyong to get involved in the massive effort to help make the world safe.
To accelerate the fight against COVID-19, IBM is uniting world developers, data scientists and problem solvers who will come together to respond provide top solutions.

Eligibility and Rules
- Submissions –
Submissions must use one or more IBM Cloud services or IBM Systems. Use of sponsor or affiliate APIs and open source libraries is also encouraged. - Team size –
Teams of up to five (5) participants, each at least 18 years old, are allowed. - Joining teams –
A participant may not be part of multiple teams. - Participation agreement –
All team members must have accepted the 2020 Participation Agreement at the time they submit to be eligible. - Application standards –
Applications must be new and built for the 2020 competition, but they may use code that was open sourced and publicly available to all other participants as of February 26, 2020. - Winners –
Winning teams will be subject to a code review after submissions close.
