Application is now open for Culture Resource Production Awards Program 2021 For Writers And Artist. The Production Awards program is focused to provide assistance in the form of grants to enable them to produce their first creative projects.
The Culture Resource Production Awards program aims to support and encourage the artistic and literary productivity and creativity of a new generation of young artists and writers from the Arab region.

Why Culture Resource Production Awards Program
Since it was first launched in 2004, the Production Awards program offers supports to artists and writers from the Arab region, below the age of 35, by offering grants to enable them to produce their first creative projects.
The awards program has provided about 300 grants to artistic innovators in the Arab region. Grants are available for the following disciplines:
Performing arts: Development and production of theater, dance and other performing arts works.
Visual arts: Production and organization of visual arts exhibitions, installations, and art books.
Literature: Creation and publication of novels, shorts stories, poetry collections and theater texts.
Music: Creation and recording of audio and audiovisual music works.
Cinema/video: Production of short, medium-length and feature fictional, documentary, animated and
experimental films and videos works.
Values/Benefits
Successful selected applicants will be offered
- Grants of up to $10,000 are available for projects in literature, music, performing arts and visual arts and
- Up to $15,000 for projects in cinema and video.
Culture Resource Production Awards Program 2021 Requirements
Applicants for the production awards program must be
- National or citizen from any Arab country
- Be between the age of 15 and 35 years old at the time of application. Note application submitted by any individual not within the recommended age will be disqualified.
- Application is open to writers, artists from any discipline-visual arts, literature, performance arts, musics, and cinema/video.
- The applications must be completed in Arabic on the form available on the applications website.
- Application must be submitted on/before the deadline October 30, 2020.
Documentation Required
Applicants under the age of 18 must include with their application a copy of their birth certificate, a letter of approval signed by a parent or guardian, and a copy of the identity card/passport of that parent/guardian.
Applicants must attach a detailed budget projection, in the local currency of their country, for the project they plan to carry out.
Applicants must include a detailed CV.

Note: Applications that do not meet the eligibility requirements and that do not include all required attachments and supporting documents will be eliminated and not be forwarded to the jury.
Applicants need to apply online, submit application here.
The application must be completed entirely in Arabic, apart from the blanks that require English.
Include all necessary supporting documents (see the guidelines) with the application form.
Do ensure to read the application guidelines and rules carefully before beginning or submitting the application.

Enter the online applications site and fill in the required registration information.
After clicking the “register” icon, you will receive a link by email. Click on the link to activate your account.
Once you activated your account, you can re-enter the online application platform using your email address and password. You will then find the application form which you can fill out online.
