The University of Gondar in partnership with Queensland University is offering the Mastercard Foundation Scholarships Program to any graduate African students scholars with disabilities, develop new occupational therapy programs and advance research for inclusive education and community based rehabilitation in Africa.

The Graduate Scholars Program is implemented through partnership with University of Gondar to undertake graduate level programs and is designed to help young scholars to acquire transformational and leadership skills, demonstrate high professional scholarly competencies to effectively influence global regional, national and local socioeconomic development trends.

The University of Gondar Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme (MCFSP) for international graduate scholars has a value covering;
the costs of tuition
stipend and additional program-related expenses
Degree Level: Graduate Programs (Full Time)
Courses: The scholars program will support candidates with application and intend to be a full-time graduate student of PHYSIOTHERAPY, NURSING, SOCIOLOGY, PSYCHOLOGY, LAW PUBLIC HEALTH, DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, OPTOMETRY OR GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES at the University of Gondar.
Requirements and Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is 0pen only for
- International applicants who earn their Bachelor’s degree in the past 5 years in South Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea (Eritrean migrants, in Ethiopia) at the time of application.
Candidates who intend to be a full-time graduate student of PHYSIOTHERAPY, NURSING, SOCIOLOGY, PSYCHOLOGY or LAW at the University of Gondar.
- Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of applicants’ demonstrated academic ability, leadership potential, socioeconomic need, and disability.
PLEASE NOTE: This scholarship is open only for International (Somalia, Djibouti, South Sudan and Eritrea) applicants who earn their Bachelor’s degree in the past 5 years in their respective countries at the time of application and intend to be a full-time graduate student.
