The Queensland University of Technology Australia is offering School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Honours International Scholarship for bachelor programme at the university in Australia. International students applying to undertake a bachelor degree program are to apply also for the scholarship award offered by QUT
The program is open for those high performing aspirants from Australia and all around the world who will commence in the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) program at QUT.
Scholarship Value
The scholarship award value at $5,000 for one year, paid in two instalments of $2,500.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the scholarship applicants must:
- apply for and be offered a place in the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)
- be starting the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Semester 1, 2020
- be supervised in your honours research by an academic staff member of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science School.

How to apply
To apply for the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Honours International Scholarship, students are to follow the steps:
Step 1: Apply for the honours degree
- Find a Science and Engineering Faculty research topic you’re interested in and contact your potential supervisor about the research you want to undertake.
- Apply for the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours).
Step 2: Apply for the scholarship
- Complete the online scholarship application form.
- You will be asked questions about your proposed project with a brief personal statement covering your suitability and motivation for the research. You will also be required to upload a copy of your academic transcript.
- Make sure you’re prepared for the questions and have a copy of your academic transcript handy. This form cannot be saved and if it is left for an extended amount of time (around 30 minutes) the system will time you out, and you’ll lose your progress.
- You can apply for this scholarship before you know the outcome of your application for the Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours), but you must be offered a place in the honours degree and accept it to be eligible to receive the scholarship.
