Steps And Requirement For Survival Fund Program

The Survival Fund application requires the following step and process to successfully complete registration.

Step One: Registration

For this very step in FG MSME Survival Fund, an applicants will need register at survivalfund.gov.ng  and submit all needed personal details and accept the terms and conditions of the survival fund. You are required to activate your account using an activation code that will be sent to your registered phone number or email address.

Step Two: Organization Registration/Update

After successful activation of your account, you will need to complete the onboarding process by adding your organization/business details. The information required here include: business name CAC registration number, SMEDAN number, Organization bank account details.

Step Three: Submit Employees Details.

You are required to complete the payroll support by submitting your employees details

Step Four: Submit Application

On completion of your survival fund application form, applicants can submit the MSME survival fund application but must ensure all necessary details and supporting documents are provided.

Categories of MSME Survival Fund You Can Choose

The Survival fund program supports entrepreneurs in Nigeria by providing some categories of FG MSME Survival Fund Type during your registration.

MSME Payroll Support

This category of Survvial Fund is called the MSME Payroll Support Scheme and is for business owners who need fund to keep up with their staff pay and keep their employees and sustain local production.

MSME Grant

This survival fund is provided to support firm to boost and increase production capacity as result of the COVID-19 impact. The focus is on business sectors whose production where affected by the pandemic to assist them increase their manufacturing/production capacity.

Guaranteed Offtake Scheme

Basically for medium, micro and small business enterprises. Applicants can select this category to get survival fund to start their business.

Eligibility Criteria For MSME Survival Fund

Applicants need meet the following eligibility for each categories to participate in the Survival Fund program.

The Survival Fund program is to run for a duration of three (3) months as the anticipated impact is to target and assist over one million micro and small enterprises

Survival Fund Payroll Support

  • Business need to be registered in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • Nigerian Owned Business
  • Verifiable BVN of business owner
  • Minimum of 3 and maximum of 50 employees
  • Only MSMEs registered on the MIS Platform shall be eligible to participate.
  • Each MSME shall submit their bank statement showing payroll receipts to their employees for the last 3 months.

Survival Fund Formalization Support

  • Individual who must meet the below criteria to be eligible to participate
  • Be a Nigerian
  • Have a verifiable BVN

Survival Fund For Artisan And Transport Workers

  • Applicants must be in the transportation sector: taxi driver, bus driver.
  • Candidates are encouraged to register through trade associations, union such as National Union of Road Transport Workers, State Taxi Drivers Association, Mechanic Association.

Survival Fund Guaranteed Offtake Grant

  • Be registered in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Verifiable BVN of business owner
  • Have staff strength of no less than 3 persons
  • Be Nigeria owned organization

How To Register For MSME Survival Fund

You can begin your registration for the MSME Survival Fund at the survival fund portal, below are steps and guide to assist your successfully complete the MSME Survival Fund

Go to the website for survival fund registration here (https://www.survivalfund.gov.ng)

Click on the Start Here button at the top left corner to access the FG survival fund registration.

Select your preferred category of Survival Fund by simply clicking on your desired registration type- MSME Payroll Support, MSME Grant, and Guaranteed Offtake Pay Scheme.

Completely fill the form with all your needed details and Submit

Activate your account using an activation code that will be sent to you.

Upon activation, sign in to the portal and proceed with the survival fund onboard process which are submission of organization and staff details.

Is The Survival Fund Registration Still Ongoing?

Please Note: Registration for the FG MSME survival fund at  the portal survivalfund.gov.ng is currently on hold for all the categories of the survival fund. Previously registered candidate are currently been contacted via mobile phone and email for disbursement of fund.

How To Activate Survival Fund Account
