The BC Institute of Agrologists Bursary will support students currently enrolled to achieve their career in the field of agrology by awarding scholarships each year.

About BC Institute of Agrologists Scholarships

Each year the British Columbia (BC) Institute of Agrologists Scholarship are offered to support future agrologists in achieving their career in agrology, the BC Institute of Agrologists will award up to two $1500 scholarships

Degree Level of Study: Undergraduate and Graduate

Location: Canada

Values/Awards

The scholarships, bursaries have a value of $1500 grants to support students study in British Columbia.

Scholarship Eligibility/Requirements

Scholarship applicants must be:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program of study related to agrology in a recognized British Columbia post-secondary institute
  • Have completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate degree program and are full-time
  • Undergraduate students have to be enrolled full-time study
  • Graduate students may be full or part-time students (no fewer than 2 courses)
  • A student member or Registrant of BCIA
  • Applicants who are not student member or registrant must first complete student member application at
    (https://www.bcia.com/members/student-membership) be accepted as a Registrant or student member of BCIA before submitting their application.
  • Canadian or permanent resident of Canada
  • Applicants must submit an essay that answers the question: What does Agrology mean to you?
  • B+ average academic achievement in previous 2 years (minimum of 15 courses) of post-secondary degree studies

Documentation Required

A complete application should consist of the following application package

  • A completely filled application form
  • Original Academic transcript
  • Essay (maximum 500 words) that answers the essay question: What does Agrology mean to you?

How To Apply For BC Institute of Agrologist Scholarships 2020

All scholarship applicants need to submit full application package including Sealed, official transcripts must be included with the application package by Mail.

If an institute provides official transcripts in electronic format, please have those emailed to bciascholarships@email.bcia.com. Electronic transcripts must be received no later than Oct. 30, 2020.
